Corporate Services
The Division looks after financial (treasury), accounts,
human resource, Board/Corporate Secretariat, legal, administration,
and information technology requirements of the Small Business
Development Corporation.
It ensures the Corporation's financial requirements are adequate/sufficient
so as to meet its debts and obligations as and when they fall
due.
It also meets the financial reporting and statutory requirements
of the internal users e.g.
the Management and Board as well as external users like the
regulatory authorities such as Internal Revenue Commission,
Auditor General Office, Public Accounts Committee, creditors
and financiers (Donors).
The Division meets the human resource needs of the Corporation
for the delivery of its products and services under the corporate
mandate, goals and objectives.
We provide necessary support and assistance to the Office
of the Managing Director and the Board.
We ensure that the Corporation is free and clear of civil
and legal law suits/litigation.
In administration, we ensure and provide
for the effective and efficient functioning of the other units
they are properly and adequately catered for in terms of physical
infrastructure
and logistics.
Finally, in information technology, we provide the Corporation
with the necessary computer hardware and software support
services.
The Division has a wide range of tasks but the small team
has proven more than capable of standing up to them.
